Patch available for Switch, PS4, Xbox One!

We have pushed a small patch for the game for all consoles today! We have collected all the feedback that we have received since launch and made various fixes and improvements to the game. What has changed… Gameplay: Tweaked and rebalanced Hard mode. At launch the hard mode was weirdly balanced and the hourglass didn’t make a lot of sense in later sections of the game. The hourglass damage now scales according to your health.

PS4 Physical Release: Limited Run Games copies on sale August 4th!

If you are interested in purchasing a physical copy of the game, please read this post very carefully! Beforehand, here is the FAQ… Q: Will you release physical copies for Switch? A: We would love to but it’s not easy. DotEmu are still talking with physical publishers to see how we can make it happen, but we don’t have solid guarantee, delay or price at the moment. Limited Run Games themselves, who are very popular, aren’t able to get Switch games manufactured at the moment (they are also trying!).

Since the game launched, we received an overwhelming amount of messages (Twitter, Facebook, E-mail) asking us if the game soundtrack was available for purchase. Everybody here (and Michael in particular!) is super happy and honored of the interest in it. We thought we’d post a bit about it so that everyone can get the answer. Sound Design Part 1

Following the second episode of our Dev Diary, which focused on the music and sound aspects of the game, I thought I’d write a little post talking about how I made some of the sound effects, since this seems to have sparked a bit of interest. It should be disclosed that I’m actually a music composer first and foremost and not a full time sound designer.
